Unilever, the manufacturers of Vaseline, has come up with a new facebook app in order to promote their new skin whitening cream -Vaseline for men advertised by the bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor.
The app called "Transform Your Face On Facebook" will digitally whiten your profile picture and removes dark spots making it more fairer. You can then make this new image as your facebook profile picture. The app is targeted at Indian men who are obsessed with white skin.
The new facebook app has developed a huge uproar in the digital world as it was termed as a rasicist action. But this uproar is mainly from the Americans. Indian men, on the othe hand, seems to be silently supporting this app.
