Earn more from Adsense by removing low paying ads

Google uses web crawlers to index content from a site in the form of search results. These data are known as scrapings. This is a fair and legal use of others content for indexing. But some illegal sites, which are made for making money from adsense ads, uses these kinds of scraps from sites having highly searched keywords and plagiarizes as their own. Such sites are known as Made For Adsense (MFA) sites. They use scraped content to generate high-revenue clicks from unknown users who believe it to be legitimate site. MFA sites advertise in Adwords for as low as $0.01 - $0.05 per click and can seriously affect the reputation of your site. Think of a scenario when a visitor of your site clicks on an Adsense ad and is taken to a scraper site like Everyrule.com which claims great offers on a host of products. But every link that shows up on the site is an Adsense ad, which when clicked is an Adsense click for the webmaster of Everyrule.

This is where AdsBlackList (ABL) comes to the help. This is a website which provides a list of MFA sites which can be used to block them from showing up on your site as an Adsense ad. Besides Google Adsense, ABL also supports Yahoo Publisher Networks and Chitika eMinimalls. There are 3 types of account available to you (Member, Premier Member and Premier+ Member). The basic membership with ABL is completely free, and will enable you to gather a list of 50 of the highest ranked MFA/LCPC sites. Premier members have the option of generating the full 200 sites to copy to their filter list. Premier+ members can not only generate the full 200 sites, but they can also manage their Adsense accounts via the AdsBlackList site... allowing the automatic update of filter lists when new & related MFA sites are listed. During BETA testing, ALL users have access to 200 sites per list.To Add a domain to your account Registered member can also use a feature called Domain Checker which allows you to quickly query a domain against the ABL database. It will return one of the following options:

  • Not in ABL - This domain has not been blacklisted. You can click "Report" in order to quickly process a blacklist application.
  • Pending - The domain exists in the database but has not yet been confirmed as MFA or LCPC.
  • Blacklisted - The domain is blacklisted via user votes. You can click "Info" to see information relating to the site status within ABL.
  • Admin Blacklisted - The domain is blacklisted and confirmed by ABL Administrators.
  • Admin Locked - The domain you entered is part of a whitelist controlled by ABL Administrators. The domain can NOT be blacklisted under any circumstances.
On the left hand side of the AdsBlackList homepage you can find the Top 30 MFA sites. Visit any one of the 30 sites and find out what AdsBlackList is all about.
